Inner West Roller Derby League

Inner West Roller Derby League (IWRDL) is an inclusive and empowering roller derby community, based in Sydney's Inner West. Established in 2012, the team competes in local and national tournaments, including the 5x5 Roller Derby Championship and the Great Southern Slam. The Inner West of Sydney is known for its queer culture and they have a lot of skaters come to their location seeking out their community. Roller derby is one of the most inclusive sports worldwide. The league hosts annual Pride events, bringing together skaters and officials from all corners of NSW and beyond to celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride.
