The Sydney Silverbacks Wrestling Club (also known as Harbour City Wrestling Club) is a LGBTQI and straight friendly, not-for-profit community sporting club based in Sydney. Founded in 1993, the club trains in Olympic Freestyle wrestling and is LGBTIQ inclusive and gender neutral. They uphold the Guidelines for the inclusion of transgender and gender diverse people in sport. Their reputation as the beating-heart of the international LGBTQI wrestling community has been forged through their active and enthusiastic involvement in past Gay Games. The club runs weekly training on Friday nights at Boxing Works Gym in Surry Hills, and new members get 3 free sessions.
